I bought this a few months ago. Seems to work well but slows some on high grass. Battery life could be better I may have to buy a 2nd battery. I'm getting almost 3 hrs on a charge. The mower deck is 17" but it's good for smaller yards.for 21'' mower it Proform excellent for larger lawn you need to buy an additional batteryI use for my front yard, in general it is good ?Needed a replacement after my gas mower died. I have to carry the mower up and down a flight of stairs and it is definitely lighter than the gas model. The small patch of grass I have is about 400 SF and I can mow the whole yard with the battery only charged with 1 light out of a maximum of 4 lights. The blades cut well, it is easy to push and the catcher is easy to put in and take off. I purchased the 17 inch model due to our small yard. I used my friend’s 21 inch model before buying and was impressed by the performance. Would definitely recommend for small yards. Only had the mower for about 1 month and going great so far.Easy to use, no hassle with gas, pull cords, starts right up. I got about 1/2 hour run time on one charge. I really like this mower for my yard, good maneuverability, quieter than my old gas mower, adjustable cutting heights, cuts great!We have an old gas powered mower that's falling apart. Over the years we reduced the size of our lawn (via mulch and natural areas). It makes sense for us to switch to battery operated mower. This one functions the same as the gas powered mower. It can more than handle our lawn. But since we have a battery operated trimmer with the same battery type, we could keep right on mowing. The batteries charge easily. Installing the battery in the mower is very simple. Very pleased with the purchase.We have a little over a quarter acre and I can mow the front lawn with one charge of the battery, and do the back lawn the next day. Mulches well.
