Motorola XTS 2500 XTS1500 PR1500 MT1500 NTN9858C Battery Charger - Fast Charging Dock for Two-Way Radios - Perfect for Police, Security & Emergency Communication

This is a basic drop-in charger for the XTS1500, XTS2500, PR1500 and MT1500.The overall physical appearance is nice, with a good texture that matches the radio well. There are no fancy features (like any of the impres stuff), just a red light for charging, and a green light for done.Radios fit into the charger easily, making it quick to drop the radio in when it needs to be charged. The charger is pretty lightweight though, which means you need to hold the charger down when removing the radio. A small weight inside the charger would help with that, but you could also use some velcro or double-stick tape to keep it down on a desk or table.I did not have the same issues as another commenter, all of the batteries I tested (several aftermarket, and 2 official motorola batteries) worked fine with no heating. There is no info on whether this is for Li-Ion or Ni-MH, but it has charged all of the Li-Ion batteries I have thrown at it (I don't have any Ni-MH batteries to test).
